FaZe were denied a chance to fight for the Intel Grand Slam prize in Stockholm by MOUZ who came back from a first map mauling to win the quarter-final 2-1 (1-16 Cache, 16-11 Dust2, 16-11 Train)
The third quarter-final of the day started on Cache, MOUZ's map pick. FaZe exploded onto the A site to win the Terrorist pistol, and continued to pressure the A site in the following rounds. Even though some rounds were tightly contested, the strategy worked out and FaZe found themselves 5-0 up.
Still, MOUZ saved a lot of weapons, and with the round-loss bonus building up, they were able to buy again in the sixth round and win their first round of the game with a B site lockdown. Unfortunately for them, they didn't follow that round up, finding themselves economically reset soon.
FaZe used the economic advantage to power on, and with some clean play, took a 10-1 lead. MOUZ then rolled out the double AWP in hopes of changing the flow of the game, but Finn "karrigan" Andersen still found a quick entry, and his troops regrouped and capitalized on the advantage.
The first half ended 14-1 as FaZe continued their dominant game, while Nikola "NiKo" Kovač added insult to injury by finding five crisp USP-S headshots in the second pistol round. His side finished off the game right there and then, 16-1, moving to Dust2 .

MOUZ doubled their score from Cache in the first two rounds of Dust2, as they were able to retake sites in both the pistol and the following anti-eco. FaZe responded with an A site execute that worked perfectly, but MOUZ was still able to bounce back with a force-buy and stabilize on the CT side (5-1).
FaZe tried to turn the game around after a frantic force-buy was ended in their favor as Håvard "rain" Nygaard clutched a 1v1, but MOUZ withheld the pressure and bounced straight back to winning ways, with a stranglehold on mid helping their cause significantly. Before the end of the half time, FaZe was able to get their fifth (10-5), and with the CT pistol going their way as well, get a chance to come back on Dust2.
Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný and Chris "chrisJ" de Jong clutched out a 2v3 on A in the first gun round, MOUZ advanced their lead to 14-8 and were looking strong to finish the map when Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer stepped up with hat-trick rounds, making it a tight affair- However, a B-split worked out for MOUZ in the end, and saw them take the map 16-11.

Despite losing the pistol round, FaZe took the early lead on Train by winning the force buy and a key rifle round (4-2). karrigan's team tried to force the B site after that, but Robin "ropz" Kool and oskar were proving tough to deal with and MOUZ got back into the lead, 6-4. They didn't slow down from there, securing a 10-5 CT half with Miikka "suNny" Kemppi topfragging for his side.
A B site rush resulted in an entry kill and a quick plant for MOUZ in the pistol round, but FaZe managed to salvage the round thanks to two late-round headshots from NiKo. No momentum was built, though, as chrisJ's team looked sharp in the rifle rounds and took control of proceedings (13-7).
GuardiaN and olofmeister locked down B to start a series of rounds going FaZe's way, they looked convincing as the score got to 14-11. A big, 3k round from ropz broke the streak and allowed his team to close out the game 16-11 and complete the 2-1 comeback for the series.
